VLR Germany GmbH advises the Swiss listed investor “EPH European Property Holdings Limited” in its asset management activities for German, Austria and Switzerland.

The investment profile of EPH is characterised by the following criteria:

Investments in commercial real estate, core and core+, for Western Europe with a primary focus on Germany. This includes office buildings, hotels (3* to 5* range) and mixed-use properties, with residential not being a priority for the time being.
Investment volume: a total of EUR 400 million in equity for the year 2020. This means that the individual transactions fall within a range of EUR 50 million to EUR 350 million (in the case of share and asset transactions).

Risk profile:

• Real estate with landmark character and/or potential
• Fully developed rent-generating properties
• Forward deals
• Real estate development and/or repositioning projects

Location criteria for investments, in order of priority:

1. Germany, top 7 cities
2. France, Austria, Sweden, Denmark – in their respective capital cities
3. Hotels: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Madrid, Milan, Rome
